Yokohama Tire launches BluEarth 718L drive tire

“The 718L is built for maximum fuel efficiency and durability to meet fleets’ long-haul demands,” said Tom Clauer, Yokohama’s senior manager of commercial product planning. “It boasts an advanced compound and newly developed tread pattern that aid in the reduction of rolling resistance, combats irregular wear and enhances traction to keep fleets running longer and more efficiently.”

The 718L tire features a connected tread for added stability and heel-to-toe wear resistance, as well as a contoured groove wall to avoid stone drilling. Meanwhile, sloped, narrow grooves help maintain the tire’s traction on wet and dry roads and increase rolling resistance, and deeper lug grooves at the middle tread help extend the tread’s working life.

Finally, the BluEarth 718L drive tire also comes with a 7-year unlimited retread casing warranty.
