Double Coin launches RLB406 drive tire for long-haul and regional fleets
CMA and Double Coin have introduced the RLB406, a closed-shoulder drive-position tire designed for long-haul and regional trucking applications. The tire features an extra-wide tread footprint and deep tread design intended to improve traction, extend service life, and support fuel efficiency.
The RLB406 has a tread depth of 28/32", providing 17% more usable original tread than Double Coin's previous fuel-efficient drive tire offering. Its closed-shoulder design is engineered to provide consistent traction and wear performance across multiple applications.
The tire is also SmartWay verified and backed by Double Coin's seven-year warranty and three-retread guarantee, allowing fleets to extend casing service life through multiple tread cycles.
"The RLB406 was developed with the needs of today's commercial end-user in mind," said Aaron Murphy, SVP at CMA/Double Coin. "By combining a newly designed extra-wide tread footprint with a closed-shoulder design, the RLB406 offers dependable traction and a casing that offers multiple retreads."
The RLB406 is expected to become available in late Q4 2026 in four sizes: 295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 285/75R24.5, and 11R24.5.
