The Translogik TLGX Series tread depth tool from Transense provides wireless tire inspection capabilities, measuring tread depth with a ±0.1-mm-accurate probe and tire pressure through a manual pressure hose. The Bluetooth-enabled tool, distributed by Haltec in the U.S., sends data to compatible software, such as the Haltec Shop Inspect app, helping shops automate commercial tire inspections, access vehicle data, and standardize inspection procedures. The TLGX1 measures tread depth only; the TLGX2 adds tire pressure measurement; the TLGX3 adds RFID reading; and the TLGX4 adds TPMS scanning.
