Ex-Guard has launched a new line of grille guards engineered for Volvo’s brand-new VNR and VNL vehicles. Jeremy Drever, the Ex-Guard director of engineering, assured that the new guards can integrate with Volvo’s technology systems.
“Just like the new Volvo VNL and VNR themselves, these guards represent a leap forward in design and performance,” said Drever, “For the XG-150G3-VM and EX-150G3-VM extreme duty models, we’ve increased hood protection height, redesigned the upper section for better headlight coverage, and enhanced logo visibility, all while preserving the advanced sensor functionality and aerodynamic styling that Volvo customers expect.”
The new guard lineup series features five models: XG-150G3-VM, EX-150G3-VM, XG-125G3-VM, EX-125G3-VM, and EX-100G3-VM. The various models offer different levels of protection, from extreme-duty full protection for the bumper, grille, radiator, hood, and headlights to low-profile full bumper protection guards.
Beyond their compatibility with the Volvo VNL and VNR, each guard also includes:

Ex-Guard’s XERO-G Lift Assist, which reduces the effort to raise and lower the guard
