SAF-HOLLAND expands CBXA AeroBeam suspension lineup with new 25K and 30K models

SAF-HOLLAND has expanded its CBXA AeroBeam fixed frame trailer suspension lineup with the introduction of the CBXAS25 and CBXAS30 models.

The additions complete the CBXA family, joining the CBXAN23 and CBXAS23 models introduced in 2022. The complete lineup now includes 23,000-, 25,000-, and 30,000-lb.-capacity fixed frame air suspensions designed for on-highway and on/off-highway applications, including tanker, bulk hauler, refrigerated, platform, and specialty trailers.

The CBXA AeroBeam series uses a lightweight cast steel trailing arm beam designed to reduce overall suspension weight while maintaining durability. The design also integrates the shock absorber to improve ride performance and provide additional protection from road debris.

The suspension includes a pivot connection tension control bolt that maintains clamp force without routine re-torquing, helping reduce bushing and frame bracket wear. SAF-HOLLAND’s SwingAlign axle alignment system allows technicians to adjust axle alignment without disassembly or replacement parts, helping maintain tire tracking and reduce tire wear.

The CBXA AeroBeam series is available with the company’s P89 air disc brake as standard equipment, with the P89 PSP7 air disc brake available as an option. The suspension also features a 5.75" diameter axle that the company said is 19% more rigid than competing designs, reducing axle deflection to improve tire life and durability.

The CBXAS25 and CBXAS30 models feature a 25K-rated axle and are available with parallel spindles. The suspension family is offered with weld-on, winged weld-on, and bolt-on frame bracket configurations, ride heights from 14-17", axle track widths of 71.5, 77.5, and 83.5", and optional Posi-Lift capability.
