Carrier Transicold’s Aspen Diesel Auxiliary Power Unit features a high-output generator to provide cab cooling, heating and electric power, and truck battery charging and engine preheating. The APU offers 12,000 BTU/h of cab cooling, heating versatility from the 8,200 BTU/h electric heater, and 7,000 BTU/h from its fuel-fired Carrier cabin heater. With IP67-rated electronics that protect against sand, dust, and water, the Aspen utilizes a corrosion free, injection-molded housing cover that provides easy access to the power plant and features a programmable driver interface for easy temperature control. The Aspen APU comes in several models and, when equipped with an adapter, can be operated using 115-volt shore power.
