Seeing Machines' Guardian Generation 3 in-vehicle system helps protect drivers from drowsy or distracted driving. According to the company, the solution’s advanced drowsiness and distraction detection reduces drowsy driving risks by more than 94%.The system uses computer monitoring technology to track driver behavior, and then sends drivers visible, audible, and haptic feedback through a vibration unit under the seat when it detects drowsiness or distraction. The system can also capture event-based footage and transmit it to analysts, who can then notify fleet managers. To protect drivers’ privacy, Guardian only records when a safety event is detected.
