Ex-Guard offers new guards for Mack Pioneer, Anthem

Ex-Guard has released a new line of grille guards for the Mack Pioneer and the Mack Anthem.

“Mack is an iconic brand in the North American trucking industry, and their new Pioneer and Anthem models continue that legacy,” said Jeremy Drever, director of engineering for Ex-Guard. “We’ve designed a lineup of guards that not only complements these new models, but also delivers exceptional protection per pound of guard while preserving the collision mitigation functionality and aerodynamic styling of the trucks.”

The new grille guard lineup includes five new models, some of which offer protection to trucks’ bumper, grille, radiator, hood, and headlights and some which offer more low-profile bumper protection. More specifically, the Mack VM series of guards includes the XG-150G3-VM, EX-150G3-VM; the mid-height XG-125G3-VM, EX-125G3-VM, and bumper covering EX-100G3-VM.

Additionally, these guards are not only compatible for the Mack Pioneer and Anthem, but the Volvo VNR and VNL vehicles.

Beyond the design features catered to the Mack Anthem and Pioneer, the new guards include:

• A ClearZone CMS compatible design that works with the truck’s collision mitigation radars
• The XERO-G Lift Assist
• 9-gauge high-tensile steel coated with 3mm of EVRCoat PVC finish
• LEVRLock dual latches
• An additional cross bar
• A license plate bracket

The new guards are available to order at any of Ex-Guard’s dealers across the U.S. And Canada.
