The Ex-Guard MAX is a grille guard featuring Ex-Guard's Front Underrun Mitigation system, Steer Tire Defender, which protect front tires and fog lights, and the VISR Bar, which helps protect collision mitigation systems and fog lamps. The MAX has Ex-Guard's highest level of protection in front of steer tires, according to the company, and is made from 8-gauge high-tensile steel with EVRCoat PVC coating, and is reinforced with plate steel gusseting. It includes an additional cross bar along with the VISR bar plus Xero-G Lift Assist for easy maintenance.
