Rivian, an electric vehicle manufacturer and auto technology company, will be opening its first service center in Hawaii in Kapālama Kai by the summer of 2024. The company’s new 15,181-sq.-ft. service center will be located at 1603 Dillingham Blvd. on Kamehameha Schools commercial land in the Kapālama ahupuaʻa area, north of Honolulu.
The facility will be able to manage vehicle deliveries and handle full maintenance and repairs for R1 Rivian vehicles and commercial vans as Kapālama Kai continues to develop.

The center will serve as headquarters for Rivian’s Hawaii Service Team and house the company’s Vehicle Operations, Delivery, and Mobile Operations teams for the region.
“We’re excited to begin the development of our Honolulu Service Center, which will provide full service to Rivian vehicles on the island of Oahu,” said Noe Mejia, vice president of Service Operations at Rivian. “In addition to Oahu, this service center will serve as a hub for mobile service throughout the state.”
Rivian is currently recruiting service technicians and support staff for the new location.
