A: There are many full flow filter constructions on the market today and to choose the best with extensive laboratory testing would only be a guess. I will tell you though that Mack has two full flow constructions for their primary engines and they are part numbers 485GP3191 and 485GB3236.
485GP3191 is the original construction for Mack engine applications and 485GB3236 was added a few years ago and uses a premium filter media which is intended to provide better filter performance for EGR engines. Most aftermarket filter manufacturers have a replacements to both versions.
Tampering with aftertreatment devices is still illegal, and the true cost of cheating and deleting can extend far beyond the massive fines you could receive.
