ZF Aftermarket has added 12 new hood lift and liftgate supports to its TRW X-tend Lift Support product line for the U.S. and Canada. With these additions, ZF increased its coverage to vehicles including the Ford F-150 and the Chevy Silverado pickup trucks.

The TRW X-Tend Lift Supports feature a black nitride rod with a smooth finish that resists corrosion. It features a low-wear piston with a durable O-Ring seal with an engineered polymer guide, to help separate the chambers of the body for a long service life, as well as anti-spin fittings with a thread lock so they don’t become unseated before installation. Comes with a Limited Lifetime warranty.
The move will strengthen Allison's position with customers in construction, mining, and ag, while allowing Dana to streamline its commercial vehicle product lines.
