Curt introduces the Rebellion XD

The adjustable hitch utilizes patented ShockDrop technology.

Curt introduced a solution to a smooth, more comfortable towing experience with the Rebellion XD. The Rebellion XD, No. 45949, is an adjustable cushion hitch ball mount – a receiver hitch mount designed to reduce jerking, jarring, rattling, vibration, and strain at the coupling point. This provides a smoother ride for the driver and passengers, while minimizing the toll on the vehicle, its brakes, and suspension system.

Rebellion XD uses patented ShockDrop technology, aimed at simplicity of design and low maintenance. With a highly tested polyurethane isolator and only a few heavy duty components, ShockDrop provides a noticeable difference in towing experience. The design removes the hassle of an airbag, bearings, and the frequent maintenance required by other cushion hitch options. It also makes the Rebellion XD lighter-weight than competitor models, according to the company.

Rebellion XD comes as the flagship product in the line of ShockDrop solutions. Curt is scheduled to release a retrofit trailer ball with ShockDrop later this year, the RockerBall, and more heavy duty ShockDrop solutions are in the works.
