The Carrier Transicold Solara Heating Unit is designed to protect temperature-sensitive products transported by trailer or rail through sub-freezing ambient conditions. The Solara heating unit features an APX control system for improved functionality. Using a Z482 2-cylinder diesel engine, the Solara unit can generate 50,000 BTU/hours of heating at 0 degrees F ambient temperature. The APX controller offers an easy-to-read, full-information dashboard-style display and is preloaded with the company's programmable IntelliSet software to easily create heating parameters for different commodities.
