While he tries to keep a low-pressure approach with his customers, Cornwell Tools dealer Ben Aurich says it is vital to be vocal. “You have to be able to ask for a sale,” Aurich explains. “If you see someone looking at something, and they’re asking questions, make sure they know how much it is and that they can buy it today.
“If you’re afraid to ask for the sale, you’re definitely going to be afraid to ask for a payment once they already have that item and you go back the following week,” he adds.
The move will strengthen Allison's position with customers in construction, mining, and ag, while allowing Dana to streamline its commercial vehicle product lines.
