Adelman is a regional remanufacturer of transmissions and differentials for half-ton and larger trucks.

TransAxle is pleased to announce the acquisition of the business of Adelman's Truck Parts of Cleveland, a regional remanufacturer of transmissions and differentials for half-ton and larger trucks.

"This acquisition fits perfectly with TransAxle's growth strategy. The addition of Cleveland to our existing network gives us a total of 23 branches. Our branch network will now span from Maine down through the Carolinas and as far west as Tennessee and Ohio. We will now be able to offer same or next day service as far west as Illinois. This new branch location will enhance our ability to serve local, regional or national customers with the full complement of TransAxle products. The entire Adelman's Cleveland staff will be joining the TransAxle family, so the customer relationships forged in the past will continue without interruption," stated David Olsen, CEO TransAxle LLC.

"I couldn't be more pleased than to be transitioning The Adelman's Truck Parts of Cleveland team over to the Transaxle group. I believe this will allow the Cleveland team to reach their full potential. At the same time the transaction allows my team to sharpen focus on the remaining Adelman's salvage business in Canton, Ohio and Chicago, Ill.,"  Carl Adelman, president of Adelman's Truck Parts.
