J.J. Keller adds light-up protection products
J.J. Keller & Associates have added light-up protection products (PPE) to their portfolio. According to the company, these items are goo for DOT road workers, trucking personnel, and towing workers.
"Visibility is critical for worker safety, especially in high-risk environments like road construction and transportation," said Ray Chishti, senior EHS editor at J. J. Keller. "In work zones, where workers often operate in low light conditions, illuminated safety equipment, such as lighted vests, supports the same visibility principles by helping drivers detect workers sooner and reducing the risk of nighttime crashes.”
The new lineup includes apparel and road lights, including the following:
- Lighted vests that provide up to 15 hours of constant light or 25 hours of flashing light. These quickly recharge and feature a weather-resistant design
- Triangle road lights that are visible up to one mile, are waterproof, and can continuously flash for over 24 hours
- A body light that includes a magnetic base, foldable stand, belt clip, and sheds up to 400 lumens that’s visible up to ½ mile
- Work light that shines with 3000 lumens for 20 hours, features a 350-degree swivel design, is waterproof, and includes multiple dynamic work light modes and two emergency red modes
- Baton commander with a magnetic body, wrist strap, built-in flashlight, and 360-degree visibility
- Head lights that offer hands-free illumination with adjustable brightness
- Beanie with integrated light
- LED safety glasses with forward-facing LED lights
