ConocoPhillips' Liquid Titanium-enriched Guardol ECT and Kendall Super-D XA synthetic blend CJ-4 products have built-in protective power for enhanced wear protection, improved corrosion control and reduced oil oxidation. An ingredient in the oil formulation, Liquid Titanium actively participates in the wear control within the engine by acting as an extra molecular protective shield to lessen wear in contact zones. Extensive testing has shown that the two heavy duty oils produce a reduction in cam lobe and crosshead wear, better wear control for better engine protection capability, a decrease in bearing weight loss, increased oxidation and thermal stability for prolonged engine oil life and reduced deposits.
