Amerit Fleet Solutions promotes Ross Rachey to CEO

Amerit Fleet Solutions has promoted Ross Rachey from president and COO to chief executive officer. Dan Williams, Amerit co-founder and CEO, will remain an advisor to the company on the Board of Directors with co-founder Amein Punjani. Additionally, Amerit appointed Keith Weidman as CFO.

Rachey joined Amerit earlier in 2025. Since then, he’s worked to improve operational performance, expanded service capabilities, and drove customer-focused enhancements, according to the company. Prior to joining Amerit, Rachey spent over a decade at Amazon in executive roles across its global fleet and transportation organizations. He also served as chief operating officer of ACERTUS, and he was recognized as one of Insider’s “100 People Transforming Business.”

Meanwhile, Weidman comes to Amerit form CPI Security. He has worked in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets, and is a former CPA with Big Four experience.
