Fleetio is integrating with John Deere Operations Center to provide heavy-equipment fleets with more access to their vehicle data. The integration connects John Deere’s telematics and equipment health data with Fleetio’s platform for greater visibility.
" The John Deere Operations Center integration is a value-added service for construction fleets, as well as agricultural and forestry fleets,” said Brian Bailey, fleet equipment manager at Duracap Asphalt Paving Contractors. “This integration allows further automation, thus improving manual workflow processes by importing relevant data, such as Hour Meter, Location, Utilization, Fault Codes, etc. into a central hub with other existing integrations already functional today."
The integration will primarily impact Fleetio’s Service Program Templates, customizable Service Tasks, and Geospatial Mapping. The real-time data and functions that will be available through Fleetio include:
Automated service reminders based on daily engine hours
Remote alerts from real-time diagnostics, such as fault codes and sensor readings
Location and usage tracking to manage equipment utilization, allowing users to compare engine hours
Additionally, Fleetio’s new Service Tasks and Service Program Templates will allow heavy-equipment fleets to manage maintenance for both wheeled and tracked equipment. The system includes 10 pre-built Service Program Templates for off-highway equipment, including oil samples to hydraulic filter changes. Meanwhile, the Geospatial Mapping feature lets users draw custom polygon boundaries around job sites to keep track of their equipment.
