The session, titled Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF): What Every User Needs to Know Now, will be led by Scott Bredenberg, training manager; Evan Ferguson, engineering manager; and Chris Mede, product manager, all with Old World Industries. The presenters will cover the growing importance of DEF across diesel-powered equipment, including trucks, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and generators.
The webinar will focus on how DEF supports emissions compliance and system performance, along with the increasing complexity of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. Attendees will learn how DEF quality, storage, and handling practices can directly affect uptime, maintenance costs, and warranty risk. The training will also introduce a new webinar series, The Future of DEF, aimed at helping fleets and operators prepare for evolving regulations and system requirements.
