Webinar on how DEF testing can help diagnose SCR system issues

A free September 15 webinar will show how laboratory testing can verify DEF quality, identify contamination, and help diagnose potential SCR system issues.

PEAK University will host the fourth installment of its five-part “DEFinitive Insights” webinar series, titled “Inside the Lab: How BlueDEF Tests the Market’s DEF (and What We Find),” on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The free webinar will provide a look inside Old World Industries’ Fluid Analysis Laboratory and examine how diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is tested for quality and potential issues. Presenters will discuss how laboratory analysis can help verify DEF quality, identify contamination, diagnose potential selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system issues, and uncover problems before they contribute to costly repairs or vehicle downtime.

The session is geared toward fleet managers, maintenance professionals, diesel equipment owners, and operators responsible for DEF quality and SCR system performance.

Presenters include Scott Bredenberg, training manager for Old World Industries; Chris Mede, product manager; and Monika Rasic, laboratory supervisor and testing expert.
