Martins Industries has acquired Safety Seal, a tire repair tool and solutions provider, which will allow the company to expand its product portfolio as a provider for the tire industry.
“We are expanding our product range to include tire repair solutions, which brings even more value to our customers and strengthens Martins' position as a go-to source for everything related to tires,” says Yannick Lejour, sales director of Martins.
Safety Seal was first founded in 1964 and developed the first tire repair plug that applies directly to the tire without dismounting it, according to the company. By integrating Safety Seal’s solution into its portfolio, this complements the company's existing range of equipment, tools, balancing products, and storage solutions.
This acquisition also comes after Martins acquired ABC American Balancing Corp. in January.
