Queclink Wireless Solutions has launched the GL330MG, a rechargeable tracking device designed for freight and logistics applications, including commercial trucks, trailers, cargo, and equipment.

The compact tracker uses optimized power management to provide up to 1,500 hours of online-on-demand operation with a 10-minute reporting schedule, according to the company. A 2,600 mAh rechargeable battery and Smart Ping technology allow the device to remain in an ultra-low-power state while still responding to location requests or remote commands.

“Most battery-powered trackers face a familiar power management dilemma. Either keep the device continuously responsive and quickly drain the battery or put it into a sleep mode and make it unreachable until the next scheduled report,” explained Chris Diaz, director of business development at Queclink. “We have improved power efficiency, alongside additional connectivity and alerting features, to deliver a highly flexible tracking tool that supports up to two months of operation within the supply chain environment.”

The GL330MG uses multi-constellation GNSS, including GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS, along with BLE 5.2 and Wi-Fi scanning to maintain location visibility in areas where satellite positioning may be limited, such as warehouses and covered facilities.

Measuring 77.9 by 39.9 by 26.7 mm and weighing 95 g, the installation-free device can be placed on assets or cargo or used to track vehicles and trailers without permanent modification. It also includes an SOS button, motion detection, and multiple geofence regions for safety and security monitoring.

Queclink said the tracker is intended to provide a flexible option for both long-term and short-term tracking applications, including rental vehicles and owner-operated equipment.
