Chevron’s Delo TorqForce MP is now the first fluid approved to meet Allison Transmission’s TES 781 specification for stationary off-highway applications. TES 781 is designed for continuous-duty environments such as fracturing, pumping, and other operations that demand durability and reliable uptime.

The approval covers Allison’s 5000, 6000, 8000, 9000 Series and FracTran transmissions, enabling operators to safely extend oil drain intervals up to 2,500 hours—more than double the interval allowed under the legacy TES 439 specification. For fleets in heavy-duty fracking and pumping operations, this translates to fewer maintenance stops, lower labor demands, and potential reductions in overall operating costs.

“Delo TorqForce MP reaching TES 781 approval is a major step forward for industrial operators who rely on Allison transmissions in some of the world’s harshest stationary environments,” said Max Cundiff, industrial sector manager at Chevron. “It allows customers to extend service intervals, reduce maintenance burdens, and improve uptime, all without compromising transmission protection.”

TES 781 targets the unique challenges of continuous-duty equipment, including thermal stress, oxidation, and contamination that are typical in stationary service applications. Unlike on-highway fluids, it is engineered to maintain performance under constant load.

Delo TorqForce MP combines a synthetic-blend base oil with an enhanced additive package, including elevated detergents, anti-wear chemistry, and antioxidants. The formulation helps maintain fluid cleanliness, resist thermal breakdown, and protect against varnish and wear throughout extended service intervals. ISOCLEAN certification is also available for operators requiring optimal fluid cleanliness.

Features:

  • First and currently only fluid approved for Allison TES 781
  • Supports up to 2,500-hour or 48-month drain intervals for stationary transmissions
  • Synthetic-blend formulation for high thermal and oxidative stability
  • Elevated detergent and anti-wear chemistry
  • ISOCLEAN certification available
  • Field-proven performance in multi-cycle 2,400+ hour testing
