BendPak’s HD-9EWT four-post lift has increased width and height to accommodate pickup trucks, SUVs, and off-road vehicles that have large tires, wide fenders, extended side mirrors, and broader dimensions overall.

The HD-9EWT has a 9,000-lb. capacity and 87” max lifting height. The max rise height is about 82”. The overall dimensions are 117” x 224.5”.   Longer approach ramps and low-profile runways also make it easier to load low-clearance vehicles, such as sports cars.

“The expanded dimensions of the new HD-9EWT four-post lift offer greater peace of mind when maneuvering larger vehicles into place,” says Jeff Kritzer, BendPak president and CEO. “This new design is all about operator safety and comfort. The lift’s extra width prevents damage to doors and mirrors, while its greater rise makes room for taller vehicles and taller techs, too.”

The HD-9EWT also offers better ergonomics via multi-level locking positions to ensure that technicians can lock the lift at various comfortable working heights without needing to crouch or reach in uncomfortable positions. The four locks engage automatically as the lift rises, while a backup locking system ensures safety. The lift’s electric-hydraulic power system allows techs to quickly stop, start, and reverse the four-post lift with controls that are within easy reach.

The ALI-certified 4-post lift also has upgraded, durable, heavy-duty dual-hub cable sheaves, which BendPak says “significantly extend the life of axles, cables, and sheaves under heavy load.”

To reduce clutter, the four premium-grade stainless steel lifting cables are concealed within the column structure. The sleek lift also internally routes all lifting cables, airlines, safety latches, and sheaves. Other features include oversized self-lubricating cable rollers, a push-button pneumatic safety release, and customizable power unit location.

The company noted that shops without air power can use BendPak’s GoAir Mini air compressor to provide high-pressure air to manage the lift’s locks.
