Hunter Engineering has released its HawkEye Elite Xpandable configuration, which is expandable to Hunter’s Ultimate ADAS system for laser-guided static calibrations.
“HawkEye Elite X provides a scalable foundation for a profitable alignment business that includes steering system resets and dynamic calibrations today, with the option to expand into a profitable static ADAS calibrations business in the future,” said Alan Hagerty, Hunter alignment product manager.
The system is made in the U.S. and comes with Quick Grip adapters, WinAlign software, a specs database, the ADASLink diagnostic scan tool with secure gateway capabilities, pre- and post-scans, steering system resets, and aligner remote viewer/control capabilities anywhere in the bay.
More specifically, the included ADASLink scan tool lets shops perform dynamic resets, diagnose trouble codes, run special tests, and code or pair new parts.
Standard features of the Xpandable solution include the WinAlign software, a North American vehicle information database with step-by-step, vehicle-specific procedures, bay-to-bay mobility, large storage capacity, a flat-top work surface, and a 32” widescreen monitor.
