MERA launches new certification program for remanufactured products
The program allows companies to certify that their manufacturing processes are meeting quality management system standards more generally associated with new manufacturing.
MERA, the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association, launched the Manufactured Again Certification program, and is now accepting applications.
The program allows companies to certify that their manufacturing processes are meeting quality management system standards more generally associated with new manufacturing. This certification also allows buyers to more confidently identify remanufactured products.
To qualify for the program companies must meet the following requirements:
Be a MERA remanufacturer member in good standing
Have at least one remanufacturing facility certified to ISO 9001 or IATF 16949, with documented evidence on file with MERA
Sign a Manufactured Again Certification Mark License Agreement
Receive approval of the Manufactured Again Certification Verification Committee
