The OptiCat Network provides a cloud based, secure, supplier-controlled distribution mechanism that includes data validation and distribution of data to channel partners within the supply chain.

OptiCat announced that Illinois Auto Truck Co., Inc. has joined the OptiCat Network.

As the heavy duty aftermarket community continues to embrace data standards, more and more heavy duty truck parts data receivers (distributors and other data users) are requesting high quality digital product data and images that conform to the Auto Care PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) data standards. The OptiCat Network provides a cloud based, secure, supplier-controlled distribution mechanism that includes data validation and secure distribution of proprietary data to specifically chosen channel partners within the supply chain. This capability and others provided by the OptiCat Network is focused on helping all heavy duty suppliers and their channel partners be more efficient and successful in selling more parts.

“We are very excited to join the OptiCat platform. We understand how important it is to provide our customers with product data and images to be successful in selling our products,” said Jordan Stein, vice president of sales and marketing at Illinois Auto Truck Co., Inc.

“We are proud that Illinois Auto Truck has chosen to partner with OptiCat in providing their standardized part information to their customers through the OptiCat OnBoard Supplier portal,” said Don McEntee, director of sales and marketing, OptiCat. “We are looking forward to helping them sell more parts by using our services.”

With this addition, there are more than 930 supplier brands in OptiCat’s secure data repository for use by supplier-approved data receiver channel partners.
