ASE offers free webinar on MD, HD aftertreatment systems
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence is hosting a free training webinar on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 4 p.m. ET called “Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Diesel Aftertreatment Systems.”
Hosted by Automotive Video Innovations (AVI), the training webinar will cover Nox, EGR valves and coolers, temperature and pressure sensors, the hydrocarbon doser, the DEF fluid doser, NOx sensor, DOC, DPF, SCR, CAC, VGT, DEF quality, tank manifold, heater lines, and more. The training will pair a video lecture with hands-on, real-world tests and diagnosis demonstration.
The training’s topics include:
- Turbo overview and diagnostics
- Diesel particulate filter (DPF)
- Nitrogen oxides (Nox) sensors
- Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) storage and pump
- Fuel condition
Those who attend the session will receive a certificate of attendance, which will arrive about a week after the event by email. If you can’t attend the live session, ASE still encourages registering so that you can access a recording of the webinar later.
