Decisiv growth expands in North American commercial vehicle market

June 16, 2014
More than 2,000 fleet and third-party service locations in the U.S. and Canada are now leveraging the SRM technology to process 1.2 million transactions per year.

Decisiv, Inc., a provider of Service Relationship Management (SRM) solutions for commercial assets, announced significant growth in the number of service providers and service events being managed on its SRM platform across the North American commercial vehicle market. More than 2,000 fleet and third-party service locations in the U.S. and Canada are now leveraging the SRM technology to process 1.2 million transactions per year.

“As North American fleets and service providers continue to expand their use of our SRM solution to reduce Days Out of Service and generate a higher return on assets, they are using the platform to manage 1.2 million service events annually,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. “The rate of more 250,000 events in the first quarter of this year is almost 2.5 times the number of events on the platform in the first quarter of 2012.”

Decisiv has positioned itself for growth by continuing to enhance its product capabilities and its ecosystem of partners. Recently, the company introduced its newest application, the Vision real-time decision support tool for service event management. The first in a series of new products planned by Decisiv for 2014, the Vision application enables fleets, OEs and service provider management to manage cases on an exception basis, including using mobile tablets and smartphones to quickly and proactively identify important service event issues.

Growth in the use of Decisiv technology is also being driven by the expansion of service networks in the Decisiv Network Alliance that are now communicating, collaborating and sharing information and resources on the SRM platform.

One of several new partners is Ryder System, Inc., which is combining the SRM technology with solutions at over 700 North American service locations. VehiCare, a leading North American fleet maintenance provider backed by the WheelTime network of over 200 locations in the U.S and Canada has also joined the Decisiv Network Alliance.

Papé Kenworth, with 11 parts and service locations in California, Oregon and Washington, is rolling out the Decisiv SRM platform and has invested in integrations with internal systems. The dealer group was recently honored as Kenworth’s 2013 TRP All-Makes Dealer of the Year and received the J.D. Power and Associates Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Heavy Duty Truck Dealer Service award two years in a row.

The Larson Group, a full-service dealership of Peterbilt Motors Company with 11 locations in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana has implemented the Decisiv SRM platform in its multi-shift, 24/7 operation.

“Decisiv and its partners are creating comprehensive managed care solutions that address the complex challenges associated with fleet maintenance and provide better visibility into the total cost of maintaining commercial vehicles across North America,” Hyatt said. “As we grow, Decisiv will continue to foster the use of its SRM platform among users of commercial vehicles and other assets in North America, and in Latin America, the European Union and the Asia-Pacific region.”
