Double Coin appoints Tim Abel as Southwest Regional Sales Manager

Abel will be responsible for implementing Double Coin’s business strategy and growing the Double Coin brand throughout the Southwest Region.

Double Coin and CMA, a tire manufacturer and marketer, is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Abel as Southwest Regional Sales Manager.

Abel will be responsible for implementing Double Coin’s business strategy and growing the Double Coin brand throughout the Southwest Region.

“Tim is a proven sales professional with a track record of building successful business relationships with dealers and distributors and also growing their sales,” said Walter Weller, Senior Vice President of CMA. “Tim will play a vital role in helping us develop Double Coin’s OTR and TBR business and grow our market share.”

Abel has spent his entire tire sales career with Bridgestone, starting as Northeast Regional Sales Coordinator in 1985. From there, he quickly became a Territory Manager and for 19 years was a Senior Account Manager until 2011. Abel's most recent position before moving to Double Coin was Manager, Strategic Original Equipment Accounts where he grew sales by 40 percent in three years. During his time at Bridgestone, he earned numerous achievement awards, including four CEO Awards and four Account Executive of the Year Awards.
