The new Super Concentrate solution uses the same ingredients as the company’s DEF Treatment and can be used in tandem with another solution to help keep SCR and DEF systems clean.
Rislone is releasing a new super-concentrated version of its Diesel DEF Treatment, the Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment Super Concentrate (No. 4782). The solution comes in a 33-oz. bottle and can treat up to 55 gallons of DEF, the company said, with a case of six bottles treating one 330-gallon IBC tote.
“Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment Super Concentrate is truly a case of less is much more,” says Clay Parks, Rislone vice president of development. “Our concentrated formula makes it faster and more efficient to apply the treatment across a fleet of vehicles.”
The Super Concentrate formula contains the same ingredients as Rislone’s DEF Treatment and is designed to improve selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system efficiency, stabilize diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), and prevent AdBlue/DEF crystallization.
For vehicles already showing signs of white crystal buildup, such as warning lights coming on, power and fuel efficiency dropping, or a vehicle that’s forced into “limp mode,” Rislone said these should be treated with Rislone DEF Crystal Clean Diesel DEF & SCR Emissions System Cleaner before using the Super Concentrate. Once the system is clean, the Super Concentrate can prevent crystallization deposits in the tank, pump, heater, sender lines, injector, and mixer.
The Rislone Diesel DEF Treatment Super Concentrate works with all urea DEF/AdBlue fluids to prevent crystal deposits and will not void manufacturers’ new vehicle warranties, the company said. To use it, technicians should measure the proper amount using Rislone’s dosage chart and pour it directly into a DEF drum, tote, pail, cube, or tank.
