DuraFleet recently opened its first South Carolina location in Charleston, bringing mobile fleet maintenance, repair, and 24/7 roadside assistance to businesses across the region. The company serves light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles throughout the U.S., now including Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties.
The new operation is owned and operated by Charleston resident Bob Hilscher, who brings nearly 20 years of business-building experience to the location. His approach will emphasize quality workmanship, clear communication, and straightforward pricing.
DuraFleet Charleston provides scheduled maintenance and repair services Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Roadside assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round.
The location offers:
- Preventive maintenance
- Department of Transportation (DOT) inspections
- Diagnostics and mechanical repairs
- Brake and battery services
- Hydraulics, steering, and suspension repairs
- Refrigeration unit repairs
- Trailer maintenance and repairs
"Living in Charleston, you see firsthand how much this region depends on trucks and vans," said Hilscher. "With all the traffic and bridges, even a routine trip to the repair shop can take valuable time away from a job. Bringing maintenance directly to businesses gives them another option for keeping their vehicles on the road and is just simply easier."
