Allpart Supply has launched new, advanced training for wheel balancing and automotive lift industry owners, operators and employees.

The first training program at the new Allpart Supply Wheel Balancing and Automotive Lift Training Center has just wrapped up at Allpart’s new facility in Arlington, TX. The inaugural training program was hosted by Allpart in partnership with the Tire Industry Association (TIA) as part of TIA’s Certified ATS Advanced Instructor Training Tour.

The training at the new facility was a level 400 certification program. With the current TIA ATS Instructor Training Tour, those completing the four-day program became TIA-certified Advanced ATS instructors and technicians.

The training focuses on the passenger car and light truck segment of the marketplace.Training is made up of 15 subject modules on all aspects of general tire servicing, including raising the vehicle, wheel balancing and run out, demounting and mounting, torque and clamping force, TPMS diagnostics, and relearn procedures.

"This is highly-specialized and valuable training that is cutting edge in the automotive service industry. What Allpart Supply has introduced is a tremendous resource for shop owners and employees," notes Tire Industry Association’s Director of Training Christine Hoogenboom.

Training Center Founders – Allpart Supply

Allpart Supply, an automotive industry information leader in wheel service and one of the country’s premier providers of automotive lift replacement parts, created the Training Center on their campus in Arlington, TX. Long an acknowledged cutting-edge industry leader in wheel balancing, thanks to its partnership with Haweka, Allpart expands that expertise in precision balancing to include all facets of tire service. The Allpart Automotive Training Center trains both mechanics and tire educators whose scope ranges from large dealerships to tire shops.

Allpart is a natural fit for TIA’s education and training efforts. Both organizations emphasize the importance of education to tire shops throughout North America. With the new Allpart Training Center, Allpart now offers site-based executive training, instructor training, and shop-level mechanic training on best practices in wheel servicing and automotive lift maintenance and care.

Allpart Training Center – Open To The Industry

TIA’s next training event at the Allpart Training Center is upcoming and will be Certified Commercial Tire Service training. It will cover 18 different modules focused on commercial tire service, among them Wheel-End Safety, RIST, Single- and Multi-Piece Demount and Mount, and Repair.

While the Allpart Training Center is an official TIA training facility, the Center is available throughout the year to other organizations and automotive service providers.Trainees at the Allpart Training Center divide their time between a modern classroom, complete with dedicated audiovisual support, privacy, and comfort, and the Hands-On Shop Training Center, located separately on the property.

The Hands-On Shop Training Center is designed specifically for group training and offers premier access to state-of-the-art garage equipment. The brand-new, open, airy facility features a Corghi Balancer and Tire Changer for passenger cars and light truck demonstrations, a Corghi Balancer and Tire Changer for heavy duty applications, Haweka adapters and wheel balancer tooling, 2 and 4 post automotive lifts, and AME International tools and equipment. In addition to the enviable line-up of garage equipment available at the Center, the shop facility is equipped with heat for winter days and large bay doors for cross-ventilation in warm weather.

“We are working to further strengthen our position as industry experts and the best source of information and solutions for automotive dealers, operators (repair shop owners), and mechanics alike. This revolutionary training facility is one way to demonstrate our commitment to the automotive repair community,” comments Bruce Hartin, Owner, Allpart Supply.
