The program uses generative AI within Lytx’s Driver Safety Program to produce driver strengths, areas for improvement, and peer comparisons for coaches.
Lytx has debuted a new coaching solution, the AI-powered Coach Assist. The system, based on generative AI, is meant to help coaches prepare to meet with drivers by summarizing driver strengths, areas for improvement, and peer comparisons via bullet points and simple visuals.
“Coach Assist empowers our customers to deliver smarter, more consistent coaching experiences that truly resonate with drivers,” said Chris Cabrera, chief executive officer at Lytx. “By leveraging AI to handle routine tasks, our safety coaches can spend more time connecting with drivers, fostering engagement, and building a safety culture that lasts. We’re excited to engage with our customers to create solutions that make a tangible difference on the roads.”
Coach Assist will be available through Lytx’s Driver Safety Program, although currently, it is only available to certain Lytx Lab participants. Still, the company said that for those who are able to use it, Coach Assist has helped cut coaching session prep time in half and increased driver engagement and retention.
