According to ATRI's 2025 Top Industry Issues Report, motor carriers continued to list the economy as the biggest concern. This year, diesel emissions regulations replaced battery-electric vehicles at No. 8.

A customer health audit by Velociti found that in one fleet, 500 out of its 3,000 total dash cam systems, or 16.7%, were non-functioning. Using 2021-2024 data, Velociti also found 20% of a fleet's on-board technology will fail annually.

- Thermonuclear verdicts (>$100 million) rose nearly 50% to 49 cases, according to Marathon Strategies
